The city listing shows it as free and does not mention booking. Library story hours have limited space, so arriving 10 to 15 minutes early is a good idea.

The listing gives no age. The story and the tree craft suit roughly ages 3 to 8.

Is it all in English?

Yes, it is billed as an English story time. It works for English-speaking kids and for bilingual kids and Catalan or Spanish speakers who are learning English.

About

A Christmas story hour in English at Biblioteca Jaume Fuster, the big library on Plaça de Lesseps. A storyteller called Santa's Helper tells the tale of Bear and Mouse, who want to decorate the Christmas tree together but cannot agree: Bear wants bright lights, Mouse wants big baubles. Once the story is over, kids get to decorate a Christmas tree of their own.
