Is the park suitable for toddlers and young kids?

Yes. The SésamoAventura area is built for younger children, with small-scale rides, a water-play zone, and Sesame Street shows. Height limits apply on the bigger coasters.

How do we get there from Barcelona without a car?

Direct trains run from Barcelona Sants to PortAventura station, which is a short walk from the park gates. The trip takes roughly an hour and a quarter.

Is the water park included in the ticket?

No. Caribe Aquatic Park has its own ticket and its own seasonal opening dates. Combined and multi-day passes that cover both parks are sold on the official site.

About

A theme park in Salou, about an hour south by car or train, split into six themed worlds: Mediterrània, Far West, México, China, Polynesia, and SésamoAventura for younger kids. Rides range from the Tami-Tami kiddie coaster and the Sesame Street zone to the big drops on Dragon Khan and Shambhala. The neighboring Caribe Aquatic Park, with slides and a wave pool, needs a separate ticket.

Gates open at 10:30; these later closing times (to about 22:30, occasionally midnight) apply in peak summer (roughly late June to early September), while spring and autumn days close earlier, around 18:30–19:00. Caribe Aquatic Park runs its own shorter, summer-only calendar. Always check the official calendar for the exact day you plan to visit.
