How do we get there without a car?

It's about an hour north of the city. In summer Marineland runs a bus from Barcelona and nearby Costa Brava resorts; check the website's How to Get Here page for the current stops and timetable. By train, take the R1 line to Blanes or Malgrat de Mar, then a short taxi or local bus.

Is it open year-round?

No, it's a summer water park, open roughly from late spring through mid-September. Check the website calendar before you go, as opening dates and daily hours change with the season.

Can toddlers go on anything?

Yes. The Children's Paradise area and kids' pool have shallow water and small slides sized for little ones, and the dolphin and sea lion shows work for any age.

What should we bring?

Swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, and water shoes for hot paving. There are lockers, a shop, and restaurants on site, and you can also bring a picnic.

A water park and marine zoo in one, with around a dozen slides from gentle kids' chutes to the dark 12-meter Black Hole and the new six-slide Splash Tower, plus a wave pool and the Children's Paradise splash area for little ones. Daily shows feature dolphins and sea lions, and there's a butterfly garden, shop, and restaurants on site.
