Do we need to understand Catalan or Spanish to enjoy it?

No. It's a circus, so the acrobatics, aerial acts and clowning are almost entirely visual. Any spoken moments are short and won't stop kids from following the show.

Can we visit as a day trip from Barcelona?

Yes. Girona is about an hour's drive, or under an hour on the high-speed train from Barcelona Sants, so it works well as a day out.
