These are the green spaces we actually take our own kids to: somewhere to run off energy, climb on something, or cool down on a hot afternoon. Some are just big lawns for a picnic and a ball game, others have a real draw that earns the trip, a boating lake, a hedge maze, a summer wading pool, or a rope course up in the trees.
