What you need to know
A working ceramics studio, not a school art room.
- A studio dog joins class, flag allergies or fear beforehand
- Collect finished pieces later, the studio holds them a couple months
- Kiln breakage gets a redo, if you ask within a month
- Friends can enroll together if the group still has space
About
Recrea is a ceramics studio at the top of Balmes where kids aged 5 to 12 learn hand-building, tool work, the potter's wheel and glazing in a weekly after-school class. Pieces get fired in the studio kiln, so children take home finished ceramics they made start to finish. The studio also runs adult classes, one-off family workshops and birthday sessions.
